Edward Goehring is a retired Human Rights Commissioner and former Vice Chair of the City of Eugene, Oregon’s Police Commission.

Neighborhood organizer in the Pacific NW and San Francisco Bay Area since 1965.
Manager in the major events industry for over 45 years (mostly managing police, security,medical & traffic control planning/operations for parades, festivals, concerts, TV & movies).
Worked for Seattle Parks Dept., Seattle Arts Commission, ESPN and San Francisco Chronicle planning and producing citywide festivals. Now semi-retired.
Pro bono consultant to San Francisco Police Dept. (coordinated community input to redesign SFPD website) and with Oakland, CA Office of Emergency Services.
Board member of neighborhood associations and other community groups since 1991.
Social media manager for political campaigns, community organizations, businesses.
